Answers to the questions that brought you here.

Psychological assessment can help explain difficulties with attention, learning, cognition and development. We provide thoughtful, evidence-based assessments designed to bring together the whole picture — and provide practical recommendations for what comes next.

WAYS we can help

Assessment designed around the questions you need answered.

ATTENTION & NEURODEVELOPMENT

Understanding attention, executive functioning, and ADHD.

Careful assessment of attention and executive functioning for adolescents and adults, bringing together clinical history, standardised measures and information from different settings.

educational assessment

Understanding how someone learns

Comprehensive educational assessment to identify learning strengths and difficulties, including dyslexia, dysgraphia and dyscalculia, and to guide practical support at school, university or work.

COGNITIVE (IQ) ASSESSMENT

A clearer picture of thinking and ability

Assessment of cognitive strengths and weaknesses, intellectual ability and giftedness, providing a detailed picture of how an individual thinks, reasons, remembers and processes information.

THE PATHWAY

A straight-forward process to get started.

We make psychological assessment as straightforward as possible. From your first enquiry to your final feedback session, we’ll explain what happens next and tailor the process to the questions you want answered.

STEP ONE

Tell us what’s going on.

Get in touch and tell us a little about what has prompted you to seek an assessment. We’ll discuss your concerns and help determine which type of assessment is most appropriate.

STEP THREE

Make sense of the results.

We bring the findings together in a comprehensive report and talk you through what they mean, with practical recommendations for school, work, home or further support.

STEP TWO

We assess.

Your clinician will select the appropriate interviews, questionnaires and standardised tests to build a detailed picture of strengths, difficulties and the factors that may be contributing.

CLINICAL FOCUS

Areas of assessment expertise.

People come to assessment with different questions. Our clinicians have particular experience investigating the following areas across childhood, adolescence and adulthood.

  • ADHD & Executive Functioning

Assessment of attention, impulsivity, organisation and executive functioning, including the different ways ADHD can present across the lifespan.

  • Learning Difficulties

Assessment of reading, writing and mathematics to identify specific learning disorders, including dyslexia, dysgraphia and dyscalculia.

  • Cognitive Ability

Detailed assessment of intellectual and cognitive functioning, identifying individual patterns of strengths and weaknesses.

  • Giftedness

Assessment of advanced cognitive ability and learning profiles, including where high ability may coexist with learning or attentional difficulties.

  • School & Academic Concerns

Assessment when a child or adolescent is struggling academically, underperforming unexpectedly, or requires a clearer picture of their learning needs.

  • Diagnostic Clarification

A broader assessment when the picture is complex or the reason for someone's difficulties is unclear, bringing together history, testing and multiple sources of information.
