Welcome to mindmeasure

Cognitive (IQ) and Educational Assessment, ADHD Testing, and Autism Screening.

Get clear answers.

MindMeasure is a dedicated psychological assessment practice providing cognitive, educational and ADHD assessments for children, adolescents and adults.

Whether you're trying to understand learning difficulties, ADHD, giftedness, cognitive strengths, or why your child or teen is struggling despite working hard, a thorough psychological assessment can provide meaningful answers and practical recommendations.

Assessment is our sole focus. We bring together carefully selected psychological testing, clinical information and relevant background to understand how your child/adolescent thinks, learns and solves problems. The result is more than a set of scores or a diagnosis — it is a clear, useful picture that can guide decisions at home, school, university or work.

Knowing your child’s or teen’s abilities can change their future…

THE MINDMEASURE approach

Assessment is about more than a test score.

A meaningful assessment considers the whole person — their history, circumstances, culture, education and the questions that brought them to assessment. Test results are interpreted in context, bringing together information from multiple sources to build a coherent picture of strengths, difficulties and support needs.

  • ADHD Testing

For children, adolescents and adults where attention, organisation, impulsivity or executive functioning are causing concern.

  • Learning Assessment

Assessment of reading, writing and mathematics difficulties, including dyslexia, dysgraphia and dyscalculia.

  • Cognitive (IQ) Assessment

A detailed picture of cognitive strengths and difficulties across areas such as reasoning, memory and processing speed.

  • Educational Assessment

Understanding academic achievement and identifying factors that may be affecting progress at school or university.

  • Giftedness

Identifying advanced cognitive ability and helping families and schools understand an individual's learning profile.

  • Diagnostic Clarification

For situations where the picture is complex or previous assessment has not adequately explained the difficulties being experienced.

HOW assessment WORKS

A clear process, from first conversation to practical answers.

Psychological assessment can feel unfamiliar. We keep the process straightforward, explain what is happening at each stage, and tailor the assessment to the questions you want answered.

Initial Consultation

Understanding the question

We begin with a clinical interview to understand your concerns, relevant history and what you hope the assessment will clarify. This helps determine the most appropriate assessment approach.

assessment

Building the picture

Assessment may involve standardised cognitive, academic or psychological testing, together with questionnaires and information from other relevant sources. The exact process is tailored to the individual and the referral question.

Feedback & report

Making sense of the results

We bring the information together, explain what the results mean, and provide a comprehensive written report with practical recommendations for home, school, university or work. We are able to liaise with schools to assist in implementing support structures, if needed.
